I am thankful that this pregnancy is almost over (4 to 9 weeks to go!). I love what pregnancy means and I love the baby I am carrying, but that’s the end of the love. I am in so much pain and am getting almost no sleep and I can’t take this much longer. Poor Catherine needs her happy, well rested mommy back (I know I will be tired when this baby gets here, but at least I will be able to sleep when I can).

I am thankful that we have a good healthcare system in Canada. Even though we waited 4 hours to be seen on Monday night, when they realized how sick Catherine really was our nurse kicked it in to high gear and get her medication and IV fluids very quickly.
