Day 14, Why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff because is home holding down the fort while the children and I are in Hamilton visiting family. This is the 4th time since we moved to Port Elgin that we have gone back to Hamilton and he has no problem with it.

Day 13, Why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff because he knew I was running behind this last Saturday when we were on our way to our friends sons 1st birthday party, so without me asking him he packed the van. We were still late to the party, but we didn’t miss anything and I didn’t have to get all sweaty after my shower packing the car.

Day 12, Why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff because I can always tell when he is concentrating hard or deep in through. He does this cute thing with the way he holds his tongue between his lips.

Day 11, Why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff because he has let me set our new house up the way I have wanted. He will give some suggestions on where he thinks things should go, but for the most part he has let me have free rein. He has also been great with getting pictures up so it feels more like a home.

Day 10, Why I love Jeff!

He’s a great cook and can make wonderful dinners from scratch with out following a recipe!

Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful that Jefferson has decided he likes to sleep through the night! Thank you little man, mama is so much happier when she is well rested!

Day 9, Why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff because he keeps me grounded when I need it most. He’s great at being the devils advocate and telling me angles that I wouldn’t/couldn’t have come up with on my own.

Day 8, Why I love Jeff!

Today I love Jeff because he play’s with Catherine as often as her can. She will often ask “Daddy come play with me?” If he has time he will get down on the floor and read with her, play blocks with her or even build puzzles with her.

Day 7, Why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff because he chose a position at Bruce Power that doesn’t require a lot of overtime. This is great because although it was easy when I was on maternity leave for him to work a lot of overtime it will not so so easy with both children on my own. I know this was a hard decision for him because the money would help us to pay of a lot of debt but he decided that his family was more important.

Day 6, Why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff because just about every time we go to Walmart he feels the need to find a new toy or book for Catherine. Sometimes I wonder if its really for her or more for him!

Day 5, why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff today because he truly believes in me. Anytime he is at work or out without me and a topic comes up that he knows I am very knowledgeable about he always brings me up and often times will suggest the person get in contact with me about it. I love that he thinks that highly of me and my knowledge!

Catherine is 2 and a half!

Where have the last 2 and a half months gone? Where has my little girl gone? She is so big now, have more sentences then I can count and she is almost 100% night time potty trained! Were still working on getting her to eat more and play better with other children, but otherwise she is so good. I love her to pieces and hope she stops growing so fast because I don’t want to miss this wonderful time in her life.

Day 4, why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff today because as much as he was tired after working 12 hours today he happily read and played with Catherine before her bed time. She has a blast with him too!

Day 3, why I love Jeff!

I love when he is off of work and he gets up with Catherine so that Jefferson and I can sleep in!

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that my BB Curve malfunctioned before my 1 year warranty was up otherwise I would be having to buy a new phone. Now if only my loan phone would show up already, so I can actually use my BB again!

Day 2, why I love Jeff!

I love Jeff today because last night while out at a restaurant Catherine had to use the washroom and I was busy feeding Jefferson. When they got into the washroom Catherine didn’t want to use the toilet because she didn’t want to fall in. So Jeff took her out to the van to use her potty!

I am going to start writing out a reason I love Jeff Cremasco everyday for the next 365 days and post a picture that is special to us. Day 1 - I love Jeff because he often comes home and cooks us dinner after working all day! Jefferson is 2 months old!

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that Catherine seems to be on the mend. I still don't understand how a 'mild' ear infection made her as sick as she was, but I will be talking to our doctor about it. I am also thankful that I am beginning my weight loss journey. Last Thursday I started the Couch to 5K and this coming Monday I am starting Weight Watchers. I'm so ready to be fit and healthy again!
