Today I am thankful that my children napped at the same time, so I could join them and have a nap too.

Today I am thankful that we are alive and safe and that our house is still standing. On Tuesday evening we had severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings both at home and in Hamilton were the kids and I were visiting. We postponed going home and stayed at my Grammy’s. Its a good thing we did because we would have been driving through the storm!

Today I am thankful that Jefferson has decided he likes to sleep through the night! Thank you little man, mama is so much happier when she is well rested!

I am thankful that my BB Curve malfunctioned before my 1 year warranty was up otherwise I would be having to buy a new phone. Now if only my loan phone would show up already, so I can actually use my BB again!

I am thankful to have the modern convenience of the washer and dryer. Being without them for over a week with small children who are cloth diapered wasn’t easy. Luckily we have great family who helped us out. Thank you Becky and Zia Dana!
I am even more thankful that our new washer and dryer were delivered today. Now I just have to wait until Jeff gets up so we can hook them up!

I am so thankful that we hired packers/movers because while the process hasn’t been completely stress free it is far less stressful then if we had done it ourselves. I can’t wait for tomorrow when they unload all of our stuff in the new house and we finally get to move in!

Catherine had her appointment with the pediatrician yesterday because of her toe walking. Luckily we were able to see a pediatrician that I have worked with at the hospital. He watched her play, had her run/walk up and down the hallway and checked her reflexes. Other then her right foot not coming back as much (when you pull your toes up towards you) as her left foot, everything looks good. She can walk heel to toe, she just prefers to walk in her toes. She should stop by the age of 3, but she may still unconsciously do it after that too. So all we have to do is work on stretching out her tendons in that right foot when she is sitting and relaxing.

I am thankful for the wonderful family that I have. Sam, Catherine, Jefferson, my mom and I all headed to Ottawa earlier this week for Sam’s University Convocation. We had a great time and I am so proud of Sam. Then my Grammy came to visit Catherine, Jefferson and I this morning.

I am thankful that Jefferson only gets up to eat 2 to 3 times at night and that I am actually sleeping well in between. I am also thankful that Jeff has been home this week because Catherine has been having a hard time adjusting to sharing her mommy and has been a bit rotten. So its nice that there is two of us to deal with her.

I am thankful that this week has gone so smoothly. I feel almost 100% better now then I did when I was pregnant. I am actually sleeping more at night despite the frequent night feedings. I honestly don’t feel like I had a baby at 12:28 am on Monday morning. I am also thankful that I don’t have to solo parent next week because as much as my wonderful children really were easy on me this week I am looking forward to having Jeff home all next week.

I am thankful that this pregnancy is almost over. I am sore tired, sore and just done. I want to hold my baby and know if its a he or a she. Come on baby we want to meet you!

I am so thankful to have made it to full term with Baby C 2.0. Now that we have hit this point it is now time for baby to vacate the premises. He/she has been getting ready and I’ve been having contractions and am super crampy all the time, so it should be sooner rather then later.
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful to have a great family that is ready to help me out when Baby C 2.0 is here, especially since Jeff has working training the whole month of June.

I am thankful that this pregnancy is almost over (4 to 9 weeks to go!). I love what pregnancy means and I love the baby I am carrying, but that’s the end of the love. I am in so much pain and am getting almost no sleep and I can’t take this much longer. Poor Catherine needs her happy, well rested mommy back (I know I will be tired when this baby gets here, but at least I will be able to sleep when I can).

I am thankful that we have a good healthcare system in Canada. Even though we waited 4 hours to be seen on Monday night, when they realized how sick Catherine really was our nurse kicked it in to high gear and get her medication and IV fluids very quickly.
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for my wonderful family that comes together when things get tough. Great Uncle Bill you will be missed.
What are you thankful for?
I am thankful that Catherine doesn’t have a UTI, but now we have no idea why she is still throwing up and feverish.

I am thankful that Bill Duncan is back in Canada and close to his family and the Bill Hughes making lots of progress and will hopefully be home soon.
